How to get here
Important Note for Visitors Coming from Rotorua.
Google Maps may direct visitors via the Rotorua end of Manawahe Road. This section can be difficult for those unfamiliar with the area.
We recommend using the following route instead:
1. Follow State Highway 30 towards Whakat?ne until you reach the SH34 Tauranga turn-off
2. Turn left onto State Highway 34 towards Tauranga until reaching State Highway 2
3. Turn left onto State Highway 2 towards Tauranga and continue for 3.9 km
4. Turn left onto Carverhill Road towards Manawahe
5. Turn left onto Manawahe Road
The Sun Camp is approximately 350 metres along on the right-hand side.
