“A family-friendly naturist camp situated in idyllic surroundings overlooking the countryside in the eastern Bay of Plenty in the North Island of New Zealand. The camp is affiliated to the NZ Naturist Federation and welcomes enquiries from prospective visitors, members of naturist clubs and visitors from both New Zealand and overseas.

The Bay of Plenty Sun Camp is a privately owned camping ground, is located on a sealed road, 5km from the township of Matata. The main town in the area is Whakatane, only 20 minutes drive from the camp grounds. Quiet beaches are close by for fishing or surfing.

The sheltered grounds consist of grass lawns surrounded by native forest and a stream. Here tuis, wood pigeons and other native birds can be seen.

The facilities are clean and tidy and include a well equipped camphouse, swimming pool, spa pool and children's playground. There is ample room for camping, caravans and motorhomes and there is an on-site cabin and caravan available.
